Dudley Family Recipes

Those of you who knew my mom, Gabrielle, knew that she loved food! She loved trying new dishes, going to restaurants, "food" tourism, and cooking as a family. I think more than the food itself, my mom really valued and cherished time spent with loved ones, and food was a natural vehicle to bring people together as we broke bread. I have myriad wonderful memories of my mom and food, and whenever I cook or eat a dish that she loved I think of her ❤️.

Gabrielle amassed a collection of favorite recipes over the years which we have in a binder called "Dudley Family Recipes". To preserve and share these recipes, I made a website, Dudley Family Recipes (DFR), which I have started uploading them to. Many of them are handwritten by my mom which I really cherish. I wouldn't want to lose these precious memories, so I scanned all of them and am in the process of uploading them to the DFR site. A lot of people ask for recipes after we have had parties or events and I will use this DFR site to share those.

P.S. I will be posting about the Spring 2020 Gabrielle's Feast event, so be on the lookout for that! *PRO TIP* reserve your seats early as we filled up seats in 48H at the last event! :-)
Thanksgiving 2002 at the Dudleys! My mom loved to carefully prepare and plan this elaborate day of eating. She loved spending time with family and eating great food! My Grandma Gloria, pictured here, was an excellent cook and lover of food, and she instilled many of those interests and talents in my mom. I love you and miss you mom and Grandma Gloria ❤️
